Account Management

Creating an Account

Follow these steps to sign up for NovelPub:

  1. Click on the "Sign Up" button on the homepage.
  2. Fill out the registration form with your name, email address, and password.
  3. Complete your registration by clicking the "Sign Up" button.
  4. Activate your account by clicking on the verification link sent to your email address.

Editing Your Profile

Follow these steps to edit your profile:

  1. Click on the profile menu in the top right corner.
  2. Select "My Profile" option.
  3. Update your profile information and click the "Save" button.

To change your profile picture, you can upload a new photo by clicking the "Change Photo" button.

Changing Your Password

Follow these steps to change your password:

  1. Go to the "Change Password" section on your profile page.
  2. Enter your current password and your new password.
  3. Click the "Update Password" button.

Dark Mode

There are two methods to enable dark mode in NovelPub:

  1. You can temporarily enable dark mode by clicking the dark mode button in the top menu.
  2. You can permanently enable dark mode by turning on the "Dark Mode" switch on your profile page.

Reading Stories

How to Read a Story

Follow these steps to read a story:

  1. Select the story you want to read from the homepage or stories page.
  2. Click the "Read" button on the story page.
  3. If the story is premium and you haven't purchased it yet, you'll need to complete the purchase process.
  4. The story content will be displayed on your screen.

Reading Progress

NovelPub automatically saves your reading progress. While reading a story, your position is saved by the system, and when you return to the story later, you can continue from where you left off.

To view your reading progress, you can click on the "My Reading History" option in the profile menu.

Customizing Reading Experience

You can customize your reading experience using the settings menu on the reading page. From this menu, you can:

  • Change font size
  • Adjust line spacing
  • Change background color
  • Enable/disable dark mode

Favorites

Adding a Story to Favorites

Follow these steps to add a story to your favorites:

  1. Click on the heart icon on the story page.
  2. When the heart icon becomes filled, the story has been added to your favorites.

Viewing Favorites

Follow these steps to view your favorite stories:

  1. Click on the profile menu.
  2. Select the "My Favorites" option.

On this page, you can see and manage all the stories you've added to your favorites.

Removing from Favorites

Follow these steps to remove a story from your favorites:

  1. On the My Favorites page, click the "Remove from Favorites" button next to the story you want to remove.
  2. Select "Yes" in the confirmation message.

Alternatively, you can also remove a story from your favorites by clicking on the filled heart icon on the story page.

Purchasing

Purchasing a Story

Follow these steps to purchase a story:

  1. Go to the page of the story you want to purchase.
  2. Click the "Buy Now" button.
  3. Select the payment method and enter the required information.
  4. Complete the purchase by clicking the "Complete Payment" button.

Viewing Purchased Stories

Follow these steps to view your purchased stories:

  1. Click on the profile menu.
  2. Select the "My Purchases" option.

On this page, you can see and manage all the stories you've purchased.

Downloading Stories

Follow these steps to download your purchased stories:

  1. Go to the "My Purchases" page.
  2. Click on the download button next to the story you want to download.
  3. The story will be downloaded in PDF format.

Refund Request

If you want to request a refund for a story you've purchased, you can do so within 24 hours of purchase and if you haven't read more than 10% of the content. For refund requests, you need to contact us through the contact form.

Search and Discover

Searching for Stories

Follow these steps to search for stories:

  1. Enter your keywords in the search box in the top menu.
  2. On the search results page, you can see the stories you're looking for.

You can narrow down search results using filters such as category, tag, author, and price.

Discovering by Categories

Follow these steps to discover stories by categories:

  1. Click on the "Categories" button in the top menu.
  2. Select the category you're interested in.
  3. You can see stories in your selected category.

Discovering by Tags

Follow these steps to discover stories by tags:

  1. Click on tags on the homepage or tags page.
  2. You can see stories with your selected tag.

Discovering by Authors

Follow these steps to discover stories by authors:

  1. Click on author profiles on the homepage or authors page.
  2. On the author's profile, you can see all of the author's stories.

Technical Support

Common Issues

If the page is not loading, try these steps:

  1. Refresh the page (F5 or Cmd+R).
  2. Clear your browser's cache.
  3. Try using a different browser.
  4. Check your internet connection.

If you cannot log in, try these steps:

  1. Make sure you've entered your email address and password correctly.
  2. Use the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password.
  3. Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser.
  4. Try using a different browser.

If the payment process is not completing, try these steps:

  1. Make sure you've entered your card information correctly.
  2. Make sure your card is enabled for online purchases.
  3. Make sure you have sufficient funds on your card.
  4. Try using a different payment method.
  5. Clear your browser's cache and try again.
